Friday Night Race - Westwood

The Friday Night Racing Series pairs helm and crew by lottery. Forty to sixty community club Albacores duke it out on the race course from May to September. Friday Night Racing (FNR) is organized by the community sailing Clubs: TISC, Mooredale, J-Town, Westwood and the Outer Harbour Centreboard Club (“OHCC”). This is the longest standing, and largest, one-design race series in North America!

To ensure that everyone is given a chance to race, Racing Skippers are matched with crew by a random draw. 

Registering for a race

Visit the FNR registration page to sign up for multiple FNR draws or cancel your registration. Sign up deadline is Wednesday at 7:00 PM.

• To register as Race Crew, you must have at least Helms status and have volunteered on our Race Committee boat.  
  
• To register as Race Skipper, you must have Racing Skipper status, and passed the racing rules test. 
  

Cancelling your registration

Visit the FNR registration page to cancel your registration. Cancellation deadline is Wednesday at 7:00 PM. 

If you cancel after the deadline, you may be included in the draw. Contact your race skipper.
