We Are Sailor People is a docu-memoir about Julie Stewart and James Stanley, a married couple whose lives are upended when they decide to try to win a world championship in a boat they don’t know how to sail. Part relationship story and part sailing adventure, this gritty and quietly comedic piece is a portrait of their struggle.
Jamie and Julie have been active in the Toronto albacore community and some of you may know them. They've made the film available for free this week, so let's watch together and hang out after!
